UNICARB FCH5000 is Food Grade Calcium Hydroxide superfine powder has high purity with very fine particle size which is around 1-2 microns, free of lead & heavy metals, free of arsenic and free of bacteria and other microbiology, which meet or exceed the specifications of Codex Food Chemistry Edition 6th.
Food Grade Calcium Hydroxide can also be used to replace baking soda in the manufacture of breads, cakes, biscuits and dough from flour material basis such as tapioca flour, cornstarch / corn flour and rice flour. Food Grade Calcium Hydroxide functions as a natural food preservative, makes it crispy, and stabilizes the acidity. Usually mixed about 0.5 – 1 % of the weight of the dough.
Food Grade Calcium Hydroxide is commonly used for making corn tortillas, chips, canned fruit, fruit soup and others. Food Grade Calcium Hydroxide is also commonly used as an ingredient in the manufacture of alcoholic drinks, soft drinks / soft drinks, and as Calcium nutrition in food and beverage products.
